By accessing or using the services of Algonquin Artistic Painting Co. ("we", "us", or "our"), including our website and related offerings, you ("you" or "the client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

Algonquin Artistic Painting Co. offers residential and commercial painting services including, but not limited to:

  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Drywall repair
  • Pressure washing
  • Trim and ceiling painting
  • Wallpaper removal
  • Cabinet refinishing
  • Color consultations

All services are subject to availability and geographic limitations.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All estimates are free and valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on site conditions, scope changes, or additional client requests. Written confirmation or a signed service agreement is required before work commences.

4. Deposits and Payments

  • A deposit may be required prior to beginning work.
  • Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
  • Late payments may incur interest or collection fees.

5. Scheduling and Delays

We strive to begin and complete work on schedule. However, delays due to weather, supply availability, or other unforeseen factors may occur. We will communicate any schedule changes promptly.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide access to the property at agreed times
  • Remove valuables, fragile items, or obstructions from the work area
  • Ensure surfaces are dry, secure, and ready for preparation

We are not liable for damage to items left in work areas.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Deposits may be forfeited if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled start.
  • Refunds will be issued at our discretion depending on work completed and expenses incurred.

8. Warranties and Guarantees

We offer a limited workmanship warranty on most painting services (typically 1 year). Warranty excludes:

  • Damage caused by moisture, mold, fire, or improper maintenance
  • Structural defects or pre-existing surface conditions
  • Natural fading, peeling, or wear beyond normal use

Written warranty terms may be included in individual service agreements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Algonquin Artistic Painting Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (logos, text, images) is the intellectual property of Algonquin Artistic Painting Co. and may not be used without permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be handled in the appropriate courts within Illinois jurisdiction.
